SEVERE DRY SKIN while using Accutane!
I have been using Accutane for 4 months now. I just ended my treatment... its been only a few days.While I have had the typical dry lips (and continue to have them) my skin (face, arms, back of the neck) are SO SO SO DRY! So dry it cracks, hurts, is red, bumpy when moisterized... MUCH worse than I ever imagined. The simple fact of moisterizing just doesnt work! Anyone know just how long these horrible side effects will last?
(On the up side, although my skin is soooooo dry... its acne free!) Whats the trade off though? Thanks!
