If you have severe disfiguring nodular acne. Accutane will save you and offer you the one and only treatment that will clear up your skin. If you are tired of the lies and are ready to deal w/ side effects and in my belief. (and in accordance to my dermatologist who disregards all suicide and depression links...he even showed my a chart of teen suicide and then teen suicide of teens who happened to be on accutane). Like I've said before Accutane is the only treatment that will stop the sebum secretion in your oil glands...a..k..a. stopping the actual cause of the problem rather irritating your skin without stopping the problem which is all other treatments in some respect. Now on another tangent...to people who think accutane is suicide related. Keep in mind.

1) Accutane does cause very dry irritating skin, that must be moisturized and treated with care. Accutane makes your skin thinner along w/ your hair, and with so much excess Vitamin A... (these effects last for a while but aren't permanent like isotretinoins effect on acne) you will daily experience the more common side effects of dry skin, dry eyes, and chapped lips. And if you have disgusting nodular riddled skin, you will agree in a heartbeat to deal w/ anything you have to, to simply look normal and feel normal. And to prevent emotional and physical scars.

2) Many people forget that the first 2 or 3 months of accutane treatment. Your skin will look worse, and now to top it off, feel more dry. This will prompt more depression initially and may cause suicidal feelings which I believe in no way shape are form are related to the isotretinoin treatment and is all solely based on personal depression not linked w/ isotretinoin. (And please take this from a person who wanted to die because I looked so frekish and facially mutated into @#%$...and who wanted to die) So it could be rational to assume that the people who aren't aware of the complete benefits those being: Complete Reamission and 90-100% clear skin with no nodular acne and no postules of any sort. This treatment of 40mg a day and 80mg on alternating days for 5 months. Completely cleared my skin for 8 months (and now i'm currently experience only mild acne), and no one would even know i was a candidate for acne...EVEN MILD ACNE!! (during the 8 month period, keep in mind teenagers are more prone to relapse because of constant sebum excertion) So please understand that this is the most powerful treatment (based on Vitamin A absorbtion) that shouldn't be a problem because you are monitored monthly and checked for tryclicerides. This potentially toxic treatment is now a life-saving balancing treatment to dry out sebacceous glands and let someone live a less manic depressive lifestyle.

Let me add this too, what if I agreed w/ you and said the health cons outweigh the pros of accutane. (Which i personally don't) But i decided I'd be willing to take the risks for my skin to be healthy. C'mon Susan. Help me ease other people's pain.

That is exactly, what I have been trying to do, I am happy that some people who go on these message boards actually know why I come here to tell my story, it's not to try to stir up emotions...its just to try to tell some other people on the internet who are probably scared to death by people like "chimera" and whoever else scare people away from getting very honest treatment that SOME PEOPLE really need and could benefit very significantly from.

Thankyou Rowena...I can see you've had some bad acne experiences or you are just finally someone who understand what I'm doing.

Accutane is a very expensive, and at times...uncomfortable and can suck using. But if you need CLEAR SKIN, this is the only 100% honest drug.

Accutane's drying effects are very unnatural and are damaging to sebum secretion in oil glands....but what's more unnatural then having your own face rip itself apart??!
